Everyone lost except the Pakistan Air Force and China — The 2025 India-Pakistan war report

I think Pakistan's independence day is a good date to recount the near-atomic disaster the subcontinent faced in May 2025.

The living nightmare of an nuclear war breaking out in your country is something no one should have to experience. That is something I did so in Karachi, this May 2025 along with everyone else in Pakistan and India. Even though Pakistan has come out as the more successful side in the four day conflict of 7 to 10 May 2025, in its eyes and visibly, in the eyes of the world, I only don't feel victorious — I only feel lucky. I feel fortunate, that we're....still here.

Recalling the events that lead to the Indo-Pak air and missile war of May 2025 feels like staring down the barrel of a disaster that was visibly oncoming. But our government, our army, our entire fucking state, was too stupid and short-sighted to prevent it from happening. In its myopia, it's extremely far-right short-sightedness, it allowed us all to sleep-walk into a war, people are dead, and if you pointed it out before the war, you would earn a free trip in a tinted SUV for pointing out the hell we were careening into.
